Wang Smacks Four Hits, Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves Lose to Big Walnut

Yvonne Wang collected four hits, but Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves fell to Big Walnut 14-10 on Tuesday. Wang singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the fourth, and doubled in the sixth.

Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves lost despite out-hitting Big Walnut 18 to 16.

Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves got things moving in the first inning, when Wang singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Big Walnut pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third T Walters singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Big Walnut scored seven runs in the fifth inning. Big Walnut big bats were led by Q Kuhlmam, Walters, H Greathouse, and A Lott, all sending runners across the plate with RBI in the inning.

Becca Boue took the loss for Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves. Boue surrendered nine runs on ten hits over three and a third innings, striking out four.

Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves launched two home runs on the day. Brynley Rung went for the long ball in the sixth inning. Sara Dale had a dinger in the seventh inning.

Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves racked up 18 hits on the day. Josie Janosy, Wang, Dale, Rung, and Boue all managed multiple hits for Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves. Wang and Janosy each managed four hits to lead Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves.

Big Walnut tallied 16 hits in the game. J Hayes, Walters, Kuhlmam, Lott, and Weiss each managed multiple hits for Big Walnut. Hayes led Big Walnut with four hits in four at bats.
