Worthington Kilbourne Wolves Varsity Holds Onto Victory as Dublin Scioto Almost Erases 5-Run Deficit
Worthington Kilbourne Wolves Varsity got out to a five-run lead in the first inning and held on for a 9-7 victory over Dublin Scioto on Monday. Dublin Scioto scored seven runs in the failed comeback on a home run by Madi Comstock in the third, a error in the third, a single by Alexis Hoover in the fifth, a groundout by Sadie Jauregui in the sixth, and a double by Taylor Henry in the seventh.
Brynley Rung led Worthington Kilbourne Wolves Varsity to victory by driving in four runs. Rung went 3-for-4 at the plate. Rung drove in runs on a triple in the first and a home run in the seventh.
Worthington Kilbourne Wolves Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning, when Rung tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.
