Hilliard Bradley Captures Lead Early to Defeat Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves

Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 8-1 loss to Hilliard Bradley on Thursday.

Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves lost despite out-hitting Hilliard Bradley seven to five.

In the second inning, Hilliard Bradley got their offense started. An error scored one run for Hilliard Bradley.

Hilliard Bradley scored five runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Hilliard Bradley came thanks to groundouts by J Meszaros and T Hopkins, a walk by A Day, and a double by K McClelland.

C Sayre was credited with the victory for Hilliard Bradley. The hurler went seven innings, allowing one run on seven hits, striking out five and walking one.

Becca Boue took the loss for Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves. Boue surrendered eight runs on five hits over six innings, striking out six.

Sara Dale went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves in hits.

H Hashman led Hilliard Bradley with two hits in three at bats. Hilliard Bradley was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Meszaros had the most chances in the field with 11.
