Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves Can’t Hold Up Against Hayes Pacers Varsity

It was a tough day on Wednesday for Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves, who lost 14-0 to Hayes Pacers Varsity.

One bright spot for Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves was a single by Sara Dale in the first inning.

Maddie Kiss took the win for Hayes Pacers Varsity. The righthander went five innings, allowing zero runs on four hits, striking out seven and walking zero. Kassy Stefanski threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Becca Boue took the loss for Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves. The pitcher surrendered five runs on seven hits over five innings, striking out three.

Hayes Pacers Varsity launched two home runs on the day. Olivea Nelson went yard in the fourth inning. Myaih Cloud went for the long ball in the fourth inning.

Dale led Worthington Kilbourne Varsity Wolves with three hits in three at bats.

Hayes Pacers Varsity racked up 15 hits on the day. Stefanski, Kiss, Lauren Tompkins, Nelson, and Cloud all managed multiple hits for Hayes Pacers Varsity. Stefanski went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Hayes Pacers Varsity in hits. Hayes Pacers Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Cloud had the most chances in the field with ten.
